LEADERSHIP TEAM

Hannah (Director/Nominated Supervisor):

I believe creating, safe, nurturing, for the children is important to contribute to their sense of
belonging. Guiding and supporting the children as they learn through play and
providing them with experiences to extend their play and learning is important to
me as an educator. Over the last year I've loved learning about the positive
effect that mindfulness has on children, role modeling fun breathing techniques
and providing the children experiences that teach them to self regulate has
become a critical part of my philosophy. I feel privileged to lead a beautiful
team of educators
who make me feel at home and surrounded with
amazing children and families.

Marlee - 2IC

Each and every child is entitled to quality education and care and it is my role as an educator to provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters each child's learning, growth and development. I believe that this is paramount for all children and something that I strive to implement and achieve each day. Children learn best when they are actively involved in hands-on and engaging learning experiences. With this in mind, I aim to create new, exciting learning programs that are both nurturing and challenging for all children

Elysha - Educational Leader/Early Childhood Educator

I believe that children
learn best through play in the early years. When children are provided with
inviting, welcoming and stimulating environments in which they are able to play
for uninterrupted stretches of time, children thrive, learn and develop. I
believe that children and their families are the centre point of everything we
do in early childhood education so developing strong bonds with families is of
utmost importance. When strong relationships are formed, children develop a
sense of belonging within their environment and a holistic approach to learning
can occur.

Eden - Administration/Early Childhood Educator

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. It is my desire as an educator for children to meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk taking and invites a sharing of ideas.

At Little Beginnings Learning Centres, we value the early childhood years as a time of foundation building to ensure lifelong positive outcomes for children.

We want to partner with your family to ensure your child's life long journey of learning is a positive and rewarding one.

Our educators want to work as an extension of the various members of your child's community. This includes working not only with you as your child's first educator, but also looking more broadly at your child in the context of their community.

We welcome families to our centre with a promise that we want to partner together to find out as much of the essential understanding you have of your child as quickly as possible.

Please take the time to view the information contained on our website but know that it is only a snapshot of the knowledge and skills our educators can bring to the care relationship. The quality and scope of these relationships are much more intrinsic and sometimes the written word cannot do justice to these complexities.

With this in mind, we encourage you to take the next step and make contact with our Centre Director to get to know more about us. We are much more than words on paper. Relationships are the essence of what we do. Our philosophy, our teams, our vision and our resources are all focused on helping you give your child the best possible start in life and ensuring positive outcomes for your child.

Welcome to Little Beginnings Learning Centres.

Below are our centre owners: Jane & Adam; and Melissa & Tony.

Finding a new early childhood service for your child can be a daunting task. At Little Beginnings Learning Centres our aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative skills to become competent and confident individuals, and for you as a parent/guardian to feel safe knowing that your child is receiving the best possible care.

We cater for children 0 to 5 years in age appropriate group configurations over 5 separate playroom, 0 to 1 years, 1 to 2 years, 2 to 3 years, 3 to 4 years and 4 to 5 years.

For our younger age groups our Educators place great emphasis on meeting your child’s individual routine (sleep times, meal times etc.) to allow for a smooth transition between home and the centre. Through nurturing and developing secure attachments with your child we encourage them to grow and learn. Babies are like little scientists investigating and experimenting through their senses of touch, taste, smell, sight and hearing.

When children then move into the Toddler years, Educators program developmental experiences for your child according to their level of skill and based on their interest. We follow your child’s lead and aim to increase your child’s skills and abilities in preparation for transition to the Preschool Room and your child’s growing independence during this time.

Your child’s growing knowledge and capabilities during their Preschool years are an intense time of learning and consolidation, capitalising on their existing trust bonds with the centre Educators ahead of commencing formal schooling.

Transitioning to ‘big school’ is an important time in your child’s life - and yours. We focus on making this transition as smooth as possible, and giving your child important skills to help them enter school with confidence. We also aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning in your child.

At this time of your child’s life, he or she is busy exploring new friendships, learning to make decisions, and becoming more aware of his or her own unique talents and abilities. For this reason, their kindergarten - preschool experience will lay an important foundation for their future and providing a stimulating and nurturing environment is vitally important.
